Testicular Perfusion Consultation
Stem Cell Therapy for injured tissues
Service Description
Stem cell therapy, also known as regenerative medicine, promotes the reparative response of diseased, dysfunctional or injured tissues using stem cells or their derivatives. It is the next chapter of organ transplantation and uses cells instead of donor organs, which are limited in supply. Our researcher team can now grow stem cells in our lab. These stem cells are manipulated to specialize into specific types of cells which can then, when introduced into a particular organ or tissue to be able to proliferate further, give rise to similar tissue and help rehabilitate the deficient organ. The specialized cells can then be implanted into a person. In our case, the specialized stem cells can then be implanted into the testes via a specific methodology that we have developed, (testicular perfusion) which can enable the deficient testes of an Azoospermic male with Sertoli-only-Syndrome to begin producing sperm that can be used further for procreation. Our team is now very happy to announce the birth of the first "Stem Cell" baby at one of our global Centers in Lahore, Pakistan. This is a remarkable achievement for our team and we will be able now to offer this type of service to other couples. The procedure is quite promising for couples suffering from azoospermia due to "Sertoli-Only-Syndrome"
